He spent a decade building the tools engineers reach for after an outage leading product for 30+ services across observability, availability, and big data at Salesforce, then as CPO at Quantum Metric. empirik is the other answer ground truth at the moment of change. He earlier founded Twin Prime, acquired by Salesforce in 2016.

A technology leader building AI-native change intelligence and observability platforms that connect infrastructure changes to incidents. Previously Vice President of Technology at Sequoia Capital, he brings deep experience across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, knowledge graphs, distributed systems, and AI agents. His mission is to make complex production incidents explain themselves—helping teams understand not only what happened, but why.
Co-Founder & Board Director
Avon co-founded empirik and helps shape the company's vision and strategic direction. He brings two decades of experience running enterprise technology, including IT leadership at VMware through its growth to $10B, serving as Rubrik's first CIO, and becoming Sequoia Capital's first Global Chief Digital Officer, where empirik was incubated.
